Description
In 2010, the Association les Chiens du Silence was created to help deaf and hard-of-hearing people. The association trains and provides hearing assistance dogs for free to these people with disabilities.
These dogs, recognizable by their blue capes, alert their owners to everyday sounds, such as ringing phones, fire alarms, or traffic noise. They allow deaf and hard-of-hearing people to regain their independence, safety, and confidence.
The training of these dogs is funded by the generosity of the public and the association's partners
